Check if your camera comes with a connection port on its side. Ensure there is a cable for connecting, and it should match the USB port on your Mac. GoPro camera is no longer being recognized under My Devices on GoPro App for Desktop. Currently, using a micro SD card adapter will display a mass storage device on the Desktop; however, other applications(including Image Capture) still won't recognize the camera.

Method 1
